JUPEB Cut Off Marks For Courses

  1. For students who are looking to study any science related course, administrative course, para medical courses (this includes biochemistry, physiology, anatomy) and so on needs a minimum of 6 JUPEB points to be eligible for admissions.
  2. For JUPEB candidates who are looking to study Medicine and surgery, as minimum of twelve (12) points is needed. This is the highest requirement for any JUPEB candidate. Medicine and Surgery is a highly. Also, other examination will still be conducted for Medicine students after meeting the required point with JUPEB.

         NOTE:  Obafemi Awolowo University requires a minimum of thirteen (13 POINTS)

 

  1. The JUPEB applicants looking to study Engineering courses such as Petroleum engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering as well as Industrial engineering, Industrial chemistry, Physics and mathematics, needs a minimum of 8 JUPEB points to be eligible for admission.

 

  1. For JUPEB applicants looking to study Social and administrative related courses, a minimum of 7 JUPEB points is required before you can be considered for admission.

 

 

  1. For JUPEB applicants looking to study Religious Studies, Languages such as Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa and the rest needs a minimum of five (5) JUPEB points to be eligible for university admissions into 200L

 

  1. For JUPEB applicants looking to Arts related courses such as English, Classics, History, and the rest needs a minimum of five (5) points to be eligible for university admissions into 200L In Nigeria universities

 

 

  1. Also, For JUPEB applicants looking to study Agricultural related courses such as Horticulture, Animal science, Ecology, Fisheries ad so needs a minimum JUPEB score of five (5) points to be eligible for university admissions into 200l in Nigeria Universities

 

  1. JUPEB applicants looking to study Law, a minimum JUPEB score of thirteen (13) points is required to be eligible for university admissions into 200l in Nigeria Universities in JUPEB.

 

Also, it is important to note that universities like Obafemi Awolowo University do not and will not accept a JUPEB point less that nine (9) points irrespective of the course of study. This is due to their relative standard.

Also, we have established in the introductory paragraphs that the minimum requirement is five (5) JUPEB score for candidate looking to secure admission using JUPEB into 200L in Nigeria University However, there are some private universities that take as low as four (4) JUPEB points.
